Tyrone d’Arville and his son Troy d’Arville opened Furniture Plus in late 1988. Now, 20 years later, this "fill a space" store has become one of the leading retailers for furniture, appliances, and electronics... plus so much more. Today Furniture Plus has two locations: its original mall store located in the Town Centre Mall, Nassau and a second store on Madeira Croft, Grand Bahama. Furniture Plus launched its own interactive website (www.furnitureplus.com) in 2006, allowing ALL BAHAMIANS on every island to shop in the comfort of their homes to "create the beautiful homes they desire."

As we take this year to stroll down memory lane, we pay tribute to our cofounder Paul Patrick Tyrone d’Arville for his vision and faith in The Bahamas and its people. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your patronage over the last 20 years and for shopping at home in the Bahamas.
