 ...By actively participating in our Bahamian community for the past 20 years. We know that with community comes responsibility, so at this milestone in our company history we look back on the organizations that have meant so much to us through the years and with whom we have shared our time, resources and admiration. Your participation in our annual Charity of Hope and Angel of Hope Christmas giving campaigns has helped us raise money for The Bahamas Children's Emergency Hostel, the Grand Bahama Children's Home, the Special Olympics Bahamas, and purchasing an isolette for the Princess Margaret Hospital Neonatal Care Ward. Thank you. Were so proud of the "Peace on the Streets" basketball team, and have enjoyed decking them out in bright new uniforms for the past 15 years in support of Youth Against Violence. We have loved watching children squeal with delight at the Ardastra Zoo and Gardens Animal Petting Area sponsored by Furniture Plus. Other worthy organizations we have supported include Bahamas National Pride Association, Cancer Society of the Bahamas, The Salvation Army, Red Cross Bahamas Society, The Ranfurly Home for Children, Long Island Association Charity Ball, and more. Helping others in strengthening the spirit of community: That's the heart of Furniture Plus.
